These already-famous photos of ecstatic canines hurling themselves at under water toys (they made the rounds on Reddit last year) are even more hilarious and unreal-seeming in their enlarged form, which lets you scrutinize the popping eyes and the ferocious snarls which make these canines seem less like cuddly companions and more like monsters of the deep in perfectly timed decisive moments. — Alanna Martinez
