British model Edie Campbell was listed as one of the city’s most influential people under 25 in the Evening Standard’s celebrated list of 1000 Most Influential Londoners.

The Standard publishes this list annually and divides influencers into categories such as “Power Rangers”, “Style Setters”, and “Scenesters” with subcategories listed within to make up the 1000 movers and shakers.

Campbell was the only name in fashion listed under the category “Rising Stars Under 25” but she is in good company alongside musician Lianne La Havas, designer Richard Brendon, and artist Josef Valentino. 

The British model has been featured in campaigns for Burberry, alongside Kate Moss shot by Mario Testino, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Stella McCartney. In addition to editorial and advertising campaigns, Campbell is a veteran on the runway, having walked Burberry, Hermes, Thakoon, and was the closing model for the Chanel spring/summer 2012 couture show. She is the longtime favorite of Karl Largerfeld, the creative director of Chanel, who regularly books her for their shows. She has also been on Tatler’s Best Dressed List. 

The Standard’s list categorizes fashion as a separate group and among those to make the list are top model Kate Moss, Lulu Kennedy whose Fashion East initiative have launched many fashion fairytales including the careers of Jonathan Saunders and Roksanda Illincic; Stella McCartney who has had a stellar year with the Olympics, Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen; and publishers Jeremy Langmead, the editor-in-chief of Mr. Porter, Dylan Jones of GQ, Nick Knight the director of SHOWstudio, Alexandra Schulman of British Vogue, and Jefferson Hack, founder of Dazed and Confused.
