Australian fashion illustrator Kerrie Hess has partnered with Louis Vuitton on a series of Louis Vuitton Paper Dolls, featuring selected ready-to-wear pieces of the house and pieces from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection.

Hess provided the illustrations for the printable dolls which come complete with mix-and-match outfits and a range of handbags. The four dolls, each with a different look, have been styled by fashion editor Kim Hersov to show how pieces can be incorporated from each collection to create distinctive and inventive looks.

Paper dolls have been children’s toys for over two hundred years. In particular, vintage paper dolls are highly sought-after today as collector’s items due to the limited durability of paper. Louis Vuitton’s paper dolls personify the versatility of these two collections with their own unique style and present the mix and match story in a playful and original way.

Australian-born, French-based illustrator Kerrie Hess has illustrated for CHANEL, Vogue, Collette Dinnigan, and Kate Spade New York.  She has illustrated windows for Neiman Marcus (US), designed T-shirts for Indivi (Tokyo), and cosmetic packaging for Bare Escentuals (US).  Her illustrations have also graced the products of Christian Louboutin, Peter Alexander, Sambag, and Alexander McQueen.  In 2010 she was commissioned to illustrate the campaign for Vogue’s Fashion Night Out.
