Two and a half months after Hurricane Sandy devastated the East Coast, flooding galleries, studios, homes, and museums across the New York areas, hundreds of artists and dealers are still grappling with the aftermath of the superstorm. It’s been a difficult path for galleries in West Chelsea, but several along 27th Street reopened their doors with a celebration just after the start of the new year.
