For the Bottega Veneta spring 2013 jewelry collection, creative director Tomas Maier conceptualized angular bracelets embellished with a tile-like pattern and rings covered with pyramid shapes, contradicting the delicate feminine silhouettes of the Italian fashion house’s spring collection. The enameled antique silver accessories provided a sassy edge to the lace, sequins, and florals of the line. In a statement, Maier said, “These are clothes for women who’d rather not be summed up in a word or two.” Bottega Veneta’s spring jewelry line certainly adds a few more words to that description.
