For the saccharine-averse, the holidays can be a tough time. All that caroling, enforced cheer, and dangerous sugar levels. So why drop hundreds of dollars on an onstage Christmas show? Well, for one, most are smart enough to introduce a villain which inevitably steals the show and into whom we can invest all our subconscious holiday rage. For another, you can check the impulse to roll your eyes by looking at the smiling tykes in your row while hoping they won’t badger you to buy any of the over-priced souvenirs on the way out. Here’s a rundown of what Broadway Santa has to offer in order of preference.
