MIAMI— Since they were married in 1964, Donald and Mera Rubell say they have been spending at least 25 percent of their income on their collection of contemporary art.  It's now 5,000-works strong — one of the largest private collections in the world. We wondered how they decide which pieces to add to their renowned collection.  The Rubells sat down with ARTINFO at the Rubell Family Collection during Art Basel Miami Beach and gave us their tips on how to collect art, even on a modest budget.
