Lightness was the inspiration behind Richard Chai Love for spring 2013, and everything from the pastel color palette to the breezy fabrics he used maintained that notion. Soft floral prints accented midriff baring dresses and sports bra-like halter tops in the women’s clothing, while zippers and sheer nylon shirts appeared throughout the men’s line. There was definitely a sporty vibe to the collection, thanks to the wind-blocking tech jackets and neoprene biker shorts.
