Preview Outstanding Artworks From This Week's Inaugural NADA New York

Peter Brötzmann's "Zep in the Box," 1974, will be shown by Corbett vs. Dempsey at NADA

For their inaugural fair in New York City, the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) gathers together a selection of hip, under-the-radar galleries into 548 West 22nd Street (the same space that the Independent fair occupied earlier this year). The 60 galleries on the fair list range from Leo Koenig Inc. and Invisible-Exports to Brooklyn alternative space Regina Rex and Lower East Side stalwart Rachel Uffner gallery. Prospective collectors should expect a range of challenging work installed chock-a-block, and an atmosophere that is at once glamorous and casual, welcoming and intellectual. The fair runs from May 4 through 7, and admission is free.
