Dominic Wilcox, a British designer with a penchant for creating objects of satirical cultural commentary, has released five new watches to his "Moments in Time" collection — vintage watches affixed with tiny figurines on its second and hour hands, creating miniature moving scenes.

The latest installments in his series of sculptural timepiece-diorama hybrids depict scenes of college protests, video surveillance, and in the photo above, a failure of social graces as two figures ignore an overloaded old woman obviously in need of a seat. The pictured model is available at Philips de Pury's London pop-up holiday shop until January 31. (It's not surprising they'd think it would make a good gift — they have, after all, shown their fondness for the Sucklord's similarly irreverent action figures).
