Daniel Libeskind is now a lighting designer. His new lightning bolt-like eL Masterpiece chandelier bears the signature weapon-like aesthetic of his architecture, but with a little more sparkling pizzazz — it's outfitted with 1,680 LED modules that can be controlled remotely via an iPad app to change colors. And it's no dainty fixture: at nine feet tall and two-and-a-half feet wide, its stainless steel and 23 carat gold-plated body weighs in at 350 pounds. For all our sakes, please make sure it’s securely fixed to the ceiling.
