The six-dayaffair that is London Fashion Week came and went in the blink of aneye. While there were less art-inspired designs there than there were at New York Fashion Week, ahandful of designers, from Marios Schwab, who referenced the art technique chiaroscuro, to Mary Katrantzou, who put themetallic sheen and bright colors of John Chamberlain's crushed car sculptureson her dresses, brought fine art onto the runway.
