Louiseann King will soon be presenting his new solo exhibition, ‘Arbor Temporis Momentum' at Bendigo Art Gallery, Victoria, Australia.
It took the artist approximately 18 months to complete all the artworks of this series. According to Louiseann, the world provides us with a rich symbolism that eventually helps us in self-reflection and it also works as a medium that can probe broader social and cultural structures and their histories.
The exhibition, ‘Arbor Temporis Momentum' is a well-imagined landscape which comprises of formed and foraged objects. In some cases, they are completely transformed through the casting process. In order to create an immersive and evocative soundscape, King has joined hands with Philip Samartzis, a renowned sound artist Australia. Recording devices have already been planted for the exhibition.
The exhibition is on view from 25 November 2017 to 18 February 2017 at Bendigo Art Gallery, 42-48 View Street, Bendigo, Melbourne, VIC, Victoria 3550, Australia
