Game Plan at Victoria and Albert Museum of Childhood

“Game Plan: Board Games Rediscovered,” an exhibition featuring an enthralling collection of board games will run through April 23, 2017, at the Victoria and Albert Museum of Childhood, London.

The show includes some of the most popular, iconic, and visually striking games from the V&A’s collection. It showcases favorite family games such as Cluedo and Trivial Pursuit and traditional games like chess. The exhibition will also look at historical games including The Game of the Goose and other beautifully designed games from the 18th and 19th centuries. On display are more than 100 objects, featuring games from around the world that explore the role and importance of design. Throughout the exhibit, selected games of special interest are highlighted with more detailed information on their history and influence.
