Cattelan Wins Career Award from Quadriennale di Roma
Maurizio Cattelan has won the Career Prize for the 15th Quadriennale di Roma, the Italian press reports. The prize was presented to Cattelan, 48, on March 24 at a "study day" devoted to his art at Rome's Museo MAXXI, attended by the artist, art history students from the three principal Roman universities, and members of the public.

The Quadriennale di Roma was established in 1927 and every four years holds an exhibition of work by contemporary Italian artists at Rome's Palazzo dell'Esposizioni. The 15th exhibition ran from June 19 to September 14, 2008.
